Julie has been fortunate to lead copywriting and creative at some top-tier agencies and create award-winning work for brands like Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, Chick-fil-A, Pfizer, The Home Depot, The Weather Channel, and Chevrolet. She also started her own company Marateck Creative to help brands find their voice.

She has a passion for words, people, and storytelling that shines through in both her professional and personal life. She also loves public speaking and has spoken at Digital Atlanta, SuperNova South, and SparkSouth. 

When she's not binging Netflix or buying more Converse, she performs stand-up comedy. She uses humor and light-heartedness to share personal stories about childhood in the ‘80s, family foibles, and relationships, performing across the Southeast and NYC. She also produces and co-hosts her Podcast Flix at 40.

Julie lives in Atlanta with her wife and two orange cats, Taco and Queso.
